The popular and successful Sport Relief is returning for a whole weekend this coming March.
From Friday 14th to Sunday 16th thousands of people will be rising to challenges they set themselves or joining in with huge organised events like the Sport Relief Mile.
As always, the BBC will be covering the proceedings across the weekend, providing entertainment and information across Television, Radio and the Internet.
Sport Relief really makes a difference, transforming the lives of people from across the UK and the rest of the world.
Sport Relief is asking everyone to get involved. Will you?
You can contribute to the nation-wide effort by making a “one-off” donation via your payroll giving.
By donating in this way you will receive tax relief at source. For basic rate tax payers every £1 you give will only cost you 78p. Higher rate tax payers benefit from tax relief at the highest rate of tax so every £1 given costs 60p.
As well as making a “one-off” donation, you could actively get involved raising the money too. There will be plenty of opportunities to join in throughout your area, or perhaps set-up your own event with friends or colleagues. For more information and ideas visit this site: www.sponsor-me.org.
